This Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2022 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (74%) and Merlot (26%). Despite a rainy end to the year 2021, a particularly dry winter preceded a spring with five nights of intense frost that only slightly affected the vineyard. In mid-May, flowering was rapid and even. The month of June alternated between very hot weather and heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. The summer was very dry, making 2022 the hottest year since 1947. The harvest began at the beginning of September, revealing small, concentrated berries, perfectly ripe and rich.
